La rivi\u00e8re est nettoy\u00e9e des vestiges du pont depuis 2012, mais la section d\u00e9pos\u00e9e au sol est toujours en place. Pour y acc\u00e9der,\u00a0il faut emprunter le chemin du P\u00e9rodeau. Les ruines sont situ\u00e9es \u00e0 28.5 kilom\u00e8tres. Un timbre repr\u00e9sentant le pont Gareau a r\u00e9cemment \u00e9t\u00e9 produit.
